Rob Soar acted in a consultative and advisory capacity for Conservation Volunteers (CV) in a process that has had a significant and immediate impact on the culture existing within the organisation. CV is an organisation with 25 offices in all states of Australia and 3 offices in New Zealand. We have in excess of 150 permanent employees and approximately 60 casual employees.

Rob led us through a series of surveys, interviews with Senior Managers, focus group workshops and general discussions that has changed organisation cultures from reactive actions predominantly focusing on short term results to proactive cultures that give clear and careful consideration to well informed strategic actions that will promote sustainability and ensure that CV is an employer of choice. As a direct result of Rob’s work CV has been able to create a supportive work environment where providing and receiving frequent performance feedback, sharing of credit and recognition and celebrating achievements is the norm.
